While Houston as a whole experienced devastating losses from Hurricane Harvey, there was a traumatic effect on the patient population who attend one of 10 Baylor College of Medicine’s Teen Health Clinics. “The overwhelming nature of the event has cost many of our young clients everything from the loss of their homes, their jobs and the basic fabric of their lives said Dr. Peggy Smith, Professor and CEO Baylor Teen Health Clinics. “The clinic staff is most grateful for this donation from the Spirit Golf Association as it provides immediate help in a way that reduces stress and helps our youth rebuild their lives with dignity”.
